Director of Electrical Engineering

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide leadership and direction for electrical engineering activities across multiple projects
• Oversee the design of building electrical systems including power, lighting, and life safety systems
• Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing electrical engineering team
• Support project pursuits and client relationship development
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams across civil, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and technology disciplines
• Interface with project stakeholders including owners, consultants, and regulatory agencies
• Provide technical guidance and review engineering work to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards
• Contribute to project planning, coordination, and successful delivery

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
• Extensive experience in electrical design for building systems, 15+ years
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing engineers or design teams
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical power distribution, lighting systems, and building electrical infrastructure
• Experience across multiple project sectors such as commercial, institutional, healthcare, or industrial facilities
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously while leading engineering teams
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
